Eligibility:  USA, non-professional, 18+ years old, one entry (up to six photos) per household per eligible child

                 Eligible photo: unpublished, taken or directed by entrant, may not have won any prize or award, cannot include brand names or trademarks, must be recent (taken within one month of entry for children under one year of age, and within three months of entry for children over one year of age)

                Eligible child in photo: between the ages of three (3) months and four (4) years as of the date of entry.

Prizes:  Two sponsor selected finalist prizes - $500 and an all-expense-paid trip to Parents Headquarters in Des Moines, IA to be photographed for packaging on future Parents toys.

Description:  Could your child be a model? Parents magazine is searching for a kid model to be featured on Parents toys available throughout the United States. The finalists' selection is a two-round contest. Ten semi-finalists will be selected by judges and asked to submit five (5) additional non-professional photos of the child entered, taken between February 1, 2011, and March 4, 2011.  In round two, two finalists will be selected for the $500 prize and trip to Parents Headquarters in Des Moines, IA for the photo shoot session. Trip will be departing on or about March 28, 2011 and returning on or about March 30, 2011.

Personal note:  Parents conducts many unique photo contests throughout the year - more than I ever realized and many are multi-week contests with weekly prizes leading up to final grand prizes.  Having discovered this recently, I will begin checking the site more often to compile the contest details and post the listings before the weekly portion of the contests begin.
